Terms of Use
Last Updated: 2025-11-06
1. Acceptance of Terms
These Terms of Use (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the DEHcoach application, associated services, and any related websites or interfaces (collectively, the “Service”). By creating an account, accessing, or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not access or use the Service.
2. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years of age and capable of entering into a binding contract to use the Service. If you are using the Service on behalf of another person or entity, you represent that you are authorized to accept these Terms on their behalf.
3. Account Registration and Accuracy
You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information when creating or updating your account, including legal names, billing details, and contact information. You are responsible for keeping your information current and for all activities that occur under your account.
4. Account Security
You are responsible for safeguarding your login credentials. Notify us immediately if you suspect unauthorized access to your account. We are not liable for losses caused by unauthorized use of your account.
5. Subscription, Tokens, and Billing
The Service may limit access to AI coaching features through token budgets or subscription tiers. Payments and renewals are processed via our billing providers (currently Stripe). You authorize us to charge your payment method for applicable fees, including recurring payments if you choose a subscription or token package. All fees are non-refundable except where required by law. We reserve the right to adjust pricing and available packages with prior notice as required by applicable law. All prices are stated in Euro (EUR).
6. Third-Party Services and Integrations
You may connect the Service to third-party fitness platforms (such as Intervals.icu) by providing API keys or credentials. You grant us permission to store, encrypt, and use those credentials solely to provide the Service. Integration features may include syncing training events, schedules, or athlete profiles, and rely on the third party’s availability, terms, and privacy practices. You are responsible for complying with all agreements governing your use of third-party services.
7. AI-Generated Guidance
The Service leverages large language models and automated workflows to produce training plans, workout files, wellness insights, and other recommendations. AI-generated outputs may be incomplete, inaccurate, or unsuitable for your circumstances. You acknowledge that AI content is provided for informational purposes only and should be evaluated critically before you act on it.
8. Health and Safety
DEHcoach is not a medical device and does not provide medical advice. Consult a physician or qualified health professional before starting any exercise program or if you experience injury, discomfort, or other health concerns. You are solely responsible for deciding whether to follow any recommendation generated by the Service.
9. User Data and Privacy
We collect and process personal data, including profile details, training history, feedback, and generated recommendations, to deliver and improve the Service. Data processing is conducted in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). We implement safeguards such as encryption and access controls, but no system is completely secure. You acknowledge that your data may be transmitted, processed, and stored within the European Union or in jurisdictions where our service providers operate.
For more details, please see our Privacy Policy.
10. Acceptable Use
- Do not use the Service for unlawful, deceptive, or harmful purposes.
- Do not attempt to access data or systems without authorization.
- Do not interfere with or disrupt the Service or introduce malicious software.
- Do not misuse AI guidance to promote unsafe training, doping, or other prohibited conduct in sport.
- Do not infringe intellectual property or privacy rights of others.
We may investigate and take action, including suspension or termination, if we believe your use violates these Terms.
11. Intellectual Property
We and our licensors own all rights in the Service, including software, interfaces, content, and branding. Subject to these Terms, we grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to access and use the Service for personal, non-commercial athletic training purposes. You retain ownership of the data and content you submit but grant us a license to use it as necessary to provide the Service.
12. Governing Law and Jurisdiction
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Germany. The place of jurisdiction for all disputes arising from or in connection with these Terms is Darmstadt, Germany.
